We are delighted to report that the ELF Study (Elderly Laparotomy and Frailty) study has recently been published in the Annals of Surgery. Several members of our collaborative were part of the ELF Study Group and contributed to this groundbreaking study. Read more here:

FREE St Mark's Colorectal Symposium, 1st and 2nd November - This is a two day course which covers most aspects of colorectal surgery. It is delivered by a very experienced faculty from the UK and overseas - please see here: http://efisds.eu/events/pg-course-london/

South West Thames Chapter ACPGBI / Coloproctology Section of the RSM 7th Winter Colorectal Meeting will be held at St Peter's Hospital Chertsey, on Friday 7th December 2018 - The meeting will include talks by international and national speakers and will be attended by the presidents of the ACPGBI & RSM Section of Coloproctology. The South West Thames Chapter ACPGBI / Coloproctology Section of the RSM 7th Winter Colorectal Meeting will be held at St Peter's Hospital Chertsey, on Friday 7th December 2018.
The meeting will include talks by international and national speakers and will be attended by the presidents of the ACPGBI & RSM Section of Coloproctology.
Consultants, trainees and nurse specialists with an interest in coloproctology are warmly invited to attend. Please see attached programme for more details.
