Call for research/audit proposals and local research representatives

Do you have an idea for a research or audit proposal that you would like to run across multiple hospitals?

Or would you like to collect data at your local trust for an existing regional research proposal or audit?

The KSS Deanery Research Collaborative is currently looking for research and audit proposals for 2016, and local trainee representatives for existing projects. We welcome projects in any field of surgery, including General Surgery, Orthopaedics, Urology, Breast, Vascular and ENT.

The collaborative aims to allow researchers to expand their project to all hospitals in the KSS region, by providing local representatives at each hospital. This will allow the completion, presentation and publication of high quality, multicentre research with large patient numbers.

The collaborative has already successfully completed two projects in 2015, including one study involving 9 hospitals and over 1800 patients, with both projects being accepted for presentation at national meetings.
